Men's & Ladies Club

The Local Men's and Ladies clubs are in full swing.  The men's club play on Thursdays, the ladies play on Wednesdays.  Both clubs are looking for new members, so get out of that house and make some new friends and have some fun.
We are still hosting the weekly 9 hole skins game, Monday and Friday afternoons.   More information for this event or any other upcoming events can call the golf shop or come by for entry information.
This months tip from the Pro:  Most of the courses in the desert area of the United States tend to have firm fairways and aprons due to the overseeding procedure we all must do.  If you find this at your course, you should try to use a low "bounce" on your wedges.  The bounce on your wedges are the sole of the club.  A high bounce sole would look like many basic sand wedges on the market, a lot of metal on the bottom with a rounded sole.  This is not a good choice for firm lies.  An 8 or 10 degree bounce, small amount of metal and not much of a rounded shape, should be the club of choice.  And  remember, a golf course staffed with a PGA or LPGA Golf Professional will offer you the best professional advice on how to improve your golf game, or manage and operate your special golf outing.

COMPETITION GOLF
Wednesdays

Every Wednesday afternoon we host a nine hole, blind draw scramble. A $21.00 buy in gets you a chance to show your stuff on the golf course and maybe make enough to buy dinner that night.  Other events include nine hole gross and/or net skins game on Mondays and Fridays.  The popular Sunday 18 hole skins game is also on the calendar.

Frequent Player Events

We host monthly events for Frequent player card holders with different formats each event.  Frequent player cards are free and members receive a 6th round free after 5 paid rounds.  Go the calandar for information on the dates.
